The first meeting of the Scientific-Practical Council dedicated to the discussion of global economic trends was held at "Uzbekinvest" EIISK JSC.

The event focused on the topic: "Global Economic Trends in 2025: Their Impact, Threats, and New Opportunities for the Economy of Uzbekistan."

The main goal of establishing the council is to engage young and promising professionals in research activities and, through this, to develop the country’s analytical and expert potential in the fields of economics, finance, and insurance.
During the meeting, the General Director of "Uzbekinvest" EIISK JSC, Rustam Azimov, delivered an analytical report highlighting key global economic trends and their potential impact on Uzbekistan.
The report emphasized macroeconomic and structural policy directions, particularly the dominant fiscal, monetary, foreign trade, and investment strategies of major global players such as the United States, the European Union, and China. It also focused on the challenges and conflicts arising from geopolitical and geo-economic interests, as well as how these processes may influence Uzbekistan’s economic development and prospects.
The council meeting featured active discussions. Participants addressed necessary measures to counter negative trends and ensure the sustainable and stable development of Uzbekistan’s economy. Ideas were also shared regarding the accelerated modernization of the industrial, agricultural, service, and financial sectors.
At the conclusion of the event, a proposal was made to hold Scientific-Practical Council meetings on a regular basis and to involve leading experts and specialists in analytical discussions.
