Uzbekinvest and French Bpifrance Assurance Export signed a cooperation agreement

On September 10, 2025, in Paris, following negotiations between the export-import insurance company “Uzbekinvest” and the state export credit agency Bpifrance Assurance Export, a cooperation agreement was signed.

During the signing, the heads of both companies emphasized that this document is intended to create a reliable mechanism for implementing the agreements reached during the negotiations between the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Sh. M. Mirziyoyev, and France, E. Macron, on expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The document provides for the granting of insurance guarantees to business representatives engaged in investment activities and export-import operations between Uzbekistan and France, the exchange of necessary information, advisory services, and more. Special attention is given to insurance support for the efforts of French companies investing in the Uzbek economy. A permanent working group has been established to accompany and support investment initiatives with the aim of expanding trade and economic cooperation. The timeframe has also been set for the visit of the management and responsible representatives of the French company to Uzbekistan to implement the agreed program of action.
