Uzbekinvest and FALIA Discussed Insurance Market Development and Expanded Cooperation

A meeting was held in Tashkent between JSC Uzbekinvest Export-Import Insurance Company and the Japanese Foundation for the Advancement of Life Insurance Around the World (FALIA), focusing on the development of Uzbekistan’s insurance market.

The Foundation was established in 1962 with the support of one of Japan’s leading insurance companies, Dai-ichi Life, and since 2012 has held the status of a public-interest organization. FALIA implements international educational programs, conducts research, and brings together professionals from the insurance industry.

Within the framework of cooperation with FALIA, more than 200 specialists from Uzbekistan’s insurance sector have completed training programs, including 65 employees of Uzbekinvest.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to expand internship programs in Japan for specialists of Uzbekinvest and other insurance companies of Uzbekistan. The initiative is aimed at studying advanced international experience in life insurance, property insurance, investments, and financial risk management.
