Spiritual and educational event dedicated to the State Language Day was held at “Uzbekinvest”

On October 15 of this year, a spiritual and educational event was organized at the “Uzbekinvest” Export-Import Insurance Company under the slogan “May your worth be exalted, my mother tongue!” in honor of the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language.

The event was attended by the People's Poet of Uzbekistan and literary consultant of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theatre Usmon Azim, the First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Writers’ Union for Creative Affairs Minhojiddin Mirzo, as well as poet and member of the Writers’ Union Shuhrat Orif.

The event provided a detailed discussion of the challenges that were overcome in establishing the legal status of the Uzbek language, the favorable conditions created today for the broad use of its rich potential, and the ongoing reforms aimed at elevating the prestige of the state language to a new level.

The speakers shared heartfelt reflections on the sacred place of language in the human soul and on the responsibility to preserve it and pass it on to future generations.

As part of the celebration, poetry recitation and literary quiz competitions devoted to national literature were held among company employees, and the winners were awarded prizes. In addition, all employees of the Company were presented with books by Uzbek authors such as Alisher Navoi, Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, Boborahim Mashrab, Oybek, Zulfiya, Pirimqul Qodirov, Abdulla Oripov, Erkin Vohidov, Muhammad Yusuf and others.
